Context: We helped expand the brand’s reach to include XMST, ZMC, PRT, ALM, XMV, and DMC to the family of projects within the Full Spectrum Energy Investment™ initiatives.

The challenge:

Cohesive expansion

As a private investment fund and management company, XMC’s focus is on what they call Full Spectrum Energy Investment™ (FSEI). The XMC team developed the X Machina Sustainable Technologies (XMST) company with the mission to lead the energy transition and reduce greenhouse gasses. Its operations transform hydrocarbons to clean energy through its proprietary stranded gas conversion program, low carbon tech investments and carbon credit asset retirement programs.

Early in the development stage, we were brought in to support in shaping the brand, position, and messaging. Given the breadth of influence these projects carry across the industry, it was important to develop a strong creative methodology to communicate their story cohesively.

Design support

During discovery of the greater vision of XMC, it became clear that the solutions they’re bringing to the market extended past one company to include a spectrum of projects, technologies, tools, and companies.

Working closely with their team, we positioned XMC visually as the foundation for the growing XM brand. We expanded upon the periodic element logo design XMC originally had, interpreting XMST, and later other projects in this manner.

With visuals in place, focus became the development of websites for XMST and XMC during periods where an increase of attention was taking place. Collateral was then flowed across digital and print assets including letterhead, email signatures, and business cards.
